We all want to create a successful business, here are practical steps to start creating that today!
1. Community ~ the buzz word for this right now is "tribe" which I don't really like. Tribe conveys that there is a supreme leader and followers. Community suggests that it is a group of people working together. That is what you want to create through your business. You need to connect with your customers or clients in a way that is personable in order to create a relationship. Through that a community will be formed. Connect with your community that is relatable and an honest connection. How can you connect with your clients when they are not immediately in front of you? What suits you personally? Social Media? Blog? Email? Remember your clients just don't want to hear about products and sales, they need a connection. With that builds customer loyalty and word of mouth referrals. 2. Collaborate ~ This builds on community - coming alongside like minded people and businesses will only help build your business. You need to stop looking at others as competition and see how much greater you can be when you work together. Make a list of 3 people or businesses that you admire, that you could help build into their brand and likewise? They do not need to have a large following - it's about working together to benefit your community. 3. Consistency ~ Success doesn't come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently. Consistently build into your business and your community. Consistently keep your word, if you promise to do something - do it. I have seen it on social media, I have worked with people who make promises and then loose their energy or passion and walk away. Creating a successful business takes time and effort. Be consistent in your business approach, make a plan, make lists and follow through whether you feel like it that day or not. That is when you will see flourishing results. What can you do today to start building into and encouraging your community?
